Speaker Bio: Cindy Somers Franchise Owner of Spherion in Champaign, IL is a 1990 graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation. She returned to Champaign learn her father’s business in Champaign in 1992. In 1999 she and Penn Nelson became partners and became sole owner in 2011.
Cindy has offices in Champaign, Decatur and Charleston, IL . Spherion makes placements for over 1000 employees annually in temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire opportunities with local businesses. She has a wonderful family; Mike, Justin & Lainey. Cindy is very involved in the community, presently serving as a Board Member of the Don Moyer Boys & Girls Club.
